Every month, we dig into the practical tech and security questions our clients are asking—like “How will I know if a cyber threat is coming?” or “What’s changing with national cyber alerts, and how does it affect my business?”

In this edition, we’re covering a key update from CISA—a trusted national agency—that’s adjusting how it shares cyber threat information. It’s a shift worth understanding, and we’re here to make sure you’re covered without missing a beat.

🔐 CISA Update

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) just announced a quiet but significant change: going forward, only urgent alerts will appear on their website. Routine updates and advisories? Those are moving to email, RSS feeds, and the platform formerly known as Twitter (X).

Oh—and while they’re at it, CISA is facing proposed budget cuts of up to 17%, despite cybercrime damages expected to hit $10.5 trillion globally this year. Translation: federal support is shrinking at the exact moment cyber threats are exploding.

🛡️ What That Means for Business Owners

This change isn’t just a shift in communication—it’s a sign that the burden of cybersecurity is increasingly falling on private companies like yours.

Without fast, centralized guidance from CISA, many businesses could miss early warnings or fall behind on best practices. But here’s the deal:

That won’t happen to you.

🛡️ IntegraMSP’s Role: Proactive. Protective. Partnered Up.

We don’t expect our clients to monitor RSS feeds or chase down cybersecurity alerts on social media. That’s not your job—it’s ours.

IntegraMSP works directly with top-tier cybersecurity vendors to ensure your systems are protected, your risk is managed, and your business is never left guessing.

Here’s how we’re staying ahead of the curve:

We leverage the best in the business. Our cybersecurity partners provide cutting-edge threat intelligence, monitoring, and response tools so your systems are always covered—24/7.

We filter the noise. Instead of bombarding you with tech lingo or every little update, we deliver clear, timely guidance when something actually matters to your business.

We build layered protection that adapts. With threats evolving fast and public agencies scaling back, our vendor ecosystem allows us to evolve faster—and keep your defenses sharp.

🛡️ What You’ll See on Your Side

  • Clear communication when threats affect you
  • Confidence that your protections are current, tested, and proactive
  • Strategic guidance—not fear, not fluff

🚨 The Bottom Line?

You don’t have time to track government alerts. And now, you don’t have to.

While national agencies shift their approach, IntegraMSP is doubling down on protection—bringing world-class cybersecurity tools and trusted vendor partnerships to every client we serve.

You’re not just in good hands. You’re in smart hands.

We’ve got your back—so you can keep moving forward.

🚫 Shadow IT: What Not to Do

(and How to Stay Safe)

Think you know all the tech your team uses? Think again.

Shadow IT—the use of unauthorized apps, tools, or devices—can lurk beneath the surface of your organization, posing significant risks to your business. It's like an iceberg: what you see is just the tip, while the bulk remains hidden and potentially dangerous.

🧊 The Hidden Dangers

According to our Shadow IT Iceberg article:

  • Above the surface: Tools you know and approve, like Microsoft 365, company email, and official Zoom accounts.
  • Below the surface: Unapproved tools such as personal Dropbox accounts, unauthorized AI tools, or unsanctioned messaging apps.

These hidden tools can lead to:

  • Security breaches: Unvetted apps may lack proper security measures.
  • Data loss: Sensitive information might be stored in unsecured locations.
  • Compliance issues: Unauthorized tools can violate industry regulations.

What Not to Do

  • Don't ignore the problem: Assuming all tools used are approved can leave you vulnerable.
  • Don't rely solely on trust: Even well-intentioned employees might use unauthorized tools for convenience.
  • Don't delay action: The longer Shadow IT persists, the greater the risk.

✅ Steps to Take

To combat Shadow IT, consider these steps:

  1. Educate your team: Make sure everyone understands the risks associated with unauthorized tools.
  2. Implement policies: Establish clear guidelines on approved tools and the process for requesting new ones.
  3. Conduct regular audits: Periodically review the tools and applications in use within your organization.
  4. Encourage open communication: Create an environment where employees feel comfortable discussing their tech needs.

Stay ahead of the risks. By understanding and addressing Shadow IT, you can protect your business from unforeseen threats.

🚨 Microsoft to 240M Windows Users:

Stop Using Your PC?

Yes, really.

Microsoft is now warning that continued use of Windows 10 after October 14, 2025 could leave users dangerously exposed. No more updates, no more patches, no protection. Just risk.

We’ve been reminding our clients about this coming change for a while now—and this latest alert from Microsoft confirms what we’ve been saying: It’s time to prepare.

With over 240 million devices still running Windows 10, attackers are eyeing a goldmine of unprotected systems. Whether you’re still assessing your upgrade options or just haven’t gotten around to it yet, don’t wait until the last minute.
