April 2026 Newsletter — We Moved! Also - Build Expo USA Dallas, Construction Accounting and AI Changes 🏢🤖

April felt like one of those months where everything sped up at once.

Between storm season ramping up here in Texas, major shifts in AI (including OpenAI shutting down Sora), and continued conversations with clients around infrastructure, performance, and security—it’s clear we’re in a transition phase.

Not just in technology. In how we use it.

We also had a chance to get out, connect, and spend time in the field this month—which always brings a different perspective than what you see from behind a screen.

We had the opportunity to exhibit at the Build Expo USA here in Dallas. It was a great experience, and we look forward to meaningful conversations coming from our meetings in the booth.

And on a more personal note—we moved!

After a great run in Downtown Dallas, IntegraMSP has officially packed up the coffee machines, untangled the cables (mostly), and moved to a new home:

IntegraMSP

1201 Richardson Drive, Suite 160

Richardson, TX 75080

Same team. Same standards. Slightly fewer parking headaches and a lot more room to grow.

April Article Roundup — What We’ve Been Seeing

From Storm Season to Sora Shutdown—April Recap

Storm Season Is Here—Is Your IT Ready?

Storm season in Texas is less about if and more about when. This article breaks down what real preparedness looks like when outages hit—beyond backups and into recovery expectations, system resilience, and operational continuity. Because when the power goes out, your business shouldn’t.

IT Lessons From Space (Yes, Really)

In space, failure isn’t an option—and that mindset translates surprisingly well to IT. This piece by Suraya Smith explores how principles like redundancy, precision, and system accountability can strengthen everyday business operations, where downtime may not be catastrophic, but it is always costly.

AI + Construction Accounting: What’s Changing

AI is beginning to reshape construction accounting in practical ways—from improving forecasting accuracy to increasing visibility into job costs. This article looks at where the technology is making a real impact and where businesses should stay grounded as adoption continues to evolve.

Performance Starts With Infrastructure

Strong performance doesn’t start with reporting—it starts with infrastructure. This article dives into how the systems that underpin your financial data directly affect visibility, efficiency, and decision-making, especially in construction environments where timing and accuracy matter.

Not Everything Needs to Be Rocket Science

Not everything needs to be complicated—but some things do need to be done right. This piece explores where businesses tend to overcomplicate processes and where they underestimate critical systems, and how finding that balance leads to stronger performance.

What Winning Actually Looks Like

Winning in business is often less about big moments and more about consistency. This article breaks down what operational success really looks like—alignment across teams, clarity in direction, and the discipline to execute over time.

Why Construction Companies Feel Close to the Numbers

Construction companies often feel more connected to their financials than other industries—but that connection isn’t always as clear as it seems. This article explores the difference between perceived visibility and actual insight, and where gaps tend to form.

The Big Story: Sora Shut Down

OpenAI’s decision to shut down Sora highlights a larger shift in AI—from tools that generate attention to systems that deliver value. This article explores what that change means, why it feels familiar to past tech cycles, and how businesses should think about AI moving forward.

What We’re Watching

Across all of this, a few trends are becoming clear:

  • AI is moving into workflows, not just tools
  • Cost and efficiency are starting to matter more than capability
  • Businesses are looking for stability, not just innovation

That aligns with what we’re seeing across the MSP space as well—companies are leaning into managed services to reduce cost and improve efficiency, not just adopt new technology.

Closing Thought

The pace of change isn’t slowing down. If anything, it’s compressing.

New tools will continue to appear, gain traction, and in some cases, disappear just as quickly.

The goal isn’t to chase everything new.

It’s to focus on what fits, what works and what lasts.

Our Team is what makes us special.

Below are a few highlights from the last month as we celebrated them!
